Types of tests.

Mechanical tests are several types of tests, the main ones:
Tensile test: a test is to submit a calibrated tensile growing slow and gradual enough for him to establish a quasi-permanent balance between the applied stress and the reaction of the alloy.

The hardness test is to drive a penetrator in a perfectly controlled in the product to characterize ball indenter for testing Brinell and Rockwell B or indenter tip Rockwell C and Vickers testing and measuring the depth of the indentation load.

The impact test (Charpy test) It is to evaluate the toughness of a material (the property that the material has to be broken upon impact. To do this the absorbed energy to break is measured . a notched key factors whose influence is top notch in the impact test are: temperature, notch effect and speed of application.
